Hello
We had Wolfie from you some time ago, and we have some pics
from his recent holiday and thought you may enjoy to see he is still going
'strong' ...bit wobbly on the old legs, very probably deaf but still a fabulous
family dog who is loved very much, not sure how old your dogs normally manage
but think that our Wolfie is doing rather well at nearly 13 years.

It was lovely to see you on Sunday, as it always is, and your dogs are a credit
to you, they are lovely. Thankyou for letting us have Abbie (and for all your help and advice thereafter!), she's turning out to be a beautiful GSD and we're proud to have her in our family. I still think you can't beat German Shepherds, they
are the top breed, they ooze intelligence, strength with good looks. I have got
my German Shepherd that I wanted for years and feel very lucky, so thanks to
you!
Glad the paddling pool has survived
so far, did you manage to mow the lawn after we'd gone? and look at the
labrador's foot?, didn't realise how late the time was, so hope you got done
everything you planned to. The sweets went down very well on the way home and
both Beth and Hayden say thanks.
Hope to see you soon.
Good luck
with Kiera and her pups, hope all goes well this time, any socializing needed
just shout!!
Take care

Hi
Katrina,
I
was wondering if it was possible to come and visit with Roxy. She has been a
faithful companion to me for the last 10 years but is now an old girl. I’d love to bring her over while
she is still okay, she is still very beautiful even as an old
girl.

Hi Katrina
It was lovely to see you on Saturday and meet Pauline. Yogi is settling in well and is a happy, mischievous little GSD and is a
huge credit to you. I waited a long time before getting another GSD
and the wait was well worth it.
He loves playing in the garden and
his favourite game is catch the water stream from the hose pipe if
you can. He also loves to help with cleaning the decking and the
broom gets carried off regularly. Carrying his water bowl round the
garden is great fun but now that it has been replaced by a 12
litre galvanised bucket he is finding that a little difficult. When it
is time to empty it and fill it with fresh he always manages to run
off with it. He is a very intelligent puppy and needs
constant stimulation.
He regularly visits Tommy the cairn terrier at
the hardware shop and Muttley the Yorkie from next door likes comes
for play days.
He sat virtually from the day we got him home we
hardly had to train him to do it and now he sits for his all his meals. He had both his ears up a few weeks ago but they have flopped again.
We stayed with friends in Calne and my friend's little girl Alyssa
and Yogi became firm friends. Like to know what was so fascinating
about Alyssa's feet!! Last night Yogi decided that lying on the floor
was beneath him and made himself comfortable on my chair as you can see
in the pictures I am sending you.
Thank you again for your advice
and support recently regarding my vet I will definitely be taking my
pets to another establishment!! See you soon at the puppy party!!
Love
Nicci and Yogi xxx

Good Morning Katrina
I hope you and the dogs are well.
Skye is doing really well. She already measures 16 inches to the shoulder and both her ears are up, crossing over at times which makes
her look slightly unbalanced especially when she tilts her head to the
side when I speak to her. She is clean apart from dribbling wee when
she gets excited. She likes to make herself heard if she is not getting
attention but I am working on that. Cleaning up is a huge game as she
loves water and stealing the yard brush. She also loves to plant her paw in
her water bowl, turning the kitchen floor into her own skating rink and then
try to steal the floor cloth as Mum tries to mops up the water. Life before
she arrived was very boring.
As I write this she is contemplating what is next on her list to
get Mums
attention.
Keep well Katrina and we will hopefully see you
soon. We do hope to see you at the puppy party

Hi Katrina,
Merlin has had a great time away in the
Motorhome,
took to it straight away. He is very inquisitive
and when Rich opened the door to the shower he decided he wanted to lie in the
shower tray, he seems to like water. We had brought a new awning
which is like half a tent, it fixes its self to the rail of the pull out awning
and makes another room. This gave muffie
and Merlin more room to play if it rained (which it did on Saturday). They still
had to be tethered as they could go underneath
the motor home and escape, but neither seem to mind. We went to Hamble
near Southampton and stayed in the grounds of the primary school. Merlin was a
good boy over night, no unwanted chewing of fixtures and fittings and if he need
to go to the toilet he used his puppy training pad. Every one of our group
loved him and commented on how well behaved he was. We took
him on a short walk every day and he walks quiet well on the lead without any
training, so hopefully with some he will be even better. if we stop to talk to
some one he automatically sits. We went to see the ships on Southampton
water, a little circular walk along an old railway track which took us through a
wood and then along a different part of the railway walk down to the marina in
Hamble.
We sat and watched the yachts sail
by and no end of people wanted to stroke him. He was very well behaved and took
it all in his stride nothing seems to faze him (the tape you played him
certainly works). Having dogs and motor-homing
go together as most of the people who own one also have dogs so Merlin has made
a lot of friends.

He has done extremely well sleeping until 7oc

Diesel loves everyone he
meets, we are learning so much from him. He
really is wonderful and we are
looking forward to his puppy training which
starts soon. We will let you
know how he gets on.

Hi Katrina,
I just thought I’d let you know how we’re getting on. Diesel
is a truly lovely puppy, he has a great temperament and has settled in very well
already. He seems really happy and relaxed. Of course he is asleep a lot of the
time, but when he’s awake he’s eating well, playing nicely and really getting
the hang of house training.
Today I’ve been trying to teach him to sit, and he seems to
be getting the hang of that already too! We’re keeping up the socialising, too.
Yesterday my friend came over with her golden lab and Diesel handled himself
very well. We also encountered an adult dog in the park yesterday. He’s also met
the postman, the gardener and one of our neighbours. Today we’re taking him to
the pub at lunchtime. He doesn’t seem fazed by much at all – James is a bit of
an enigma to him, and he’s not too keen on the washing machine, but he’ll get
used to both soon enough no doubt.

Hi Katrina
Hope you're well and enjoying the warm weather.
I forgot to let you know that Hector passed his bronze good citizen award
on
20 April! Only 2 out of the 4 dogs passed. We are now working towards
silver......
He's a wonderful dog. I'm getting better at handling him and feel we are
learning to understand each other. I feel a lot more confident with him now than when he was a
pup. Reading about how to train your dog and actually doing it are two very different
things!
I was not tough enough with him when he was tiny - but now .. No
nonsense!! we're getting there!
The last 6 months have been a big learning curve for both of us, and I am
looking forward to what lies ahead.
Thanks for letting me have him - he's truly wonderful.

Just a quick email to say that Harley passed his Bronze Good Citizens Award tonight!! Very proud of him even with the distraction of 3 unknown stooge dogs (2 Gsd’s and a Collie), he still managed to behave himself! Apparently he is one of the nicest Gsd’s that they have ever had at the training club and his superb temperament was commented on. They took a lovely photo of him licking the examiners face at the end!! Hope to get a copy of it so I can forward it on to you. Aiming for Silver in the Summer!
Hope alls going well with you?
Take care

| Hi Katrina
Sorry we haven't been in contact in a while, the move back has been a
little more difficult than we anticipated, like I said at Christmas Kalli didn't
take to moving so well and lost a lot of weight however she is back to normal
now and is looking fab! She is very beautiful and very cheeky and possibly she
confuses herself with a retriever quite often, as she is always bringing us
things, generally things she shouldn't have and always when she believes she
isn't the centre of attention!

Hi Katrina
We have been enjoying training
and gone through beginners and intermediate and are now in the advanced class;
he is so attentive, intelligent and enthusiastic!
We have progressed quite quickly
and are now training off the lead, walking to heel and then going far too
quickly (for me!) through the weaving poles - over the see-saw – in the “down” –
then across the ramp – onto the table-top (calf high!) for a quick “stay” and
then through the tunnel to finish!
He has been a great travel
companion too; we’ve been all over the place this summer with my nephews and the
camper – he is great with the kids and loves swimming and a game of hide and
seek in the sand-dunes.
I don’t know if it is me – but I
am sure he is always smiling; bit like I have been since March!!
Del-Boy is truly excellent
Katrina.
We couldn’t be happier and could
never thank you enough!
Cant wait for the day that a
Rodney or Raquel joins our pack!!

Hi Katrina,
Hope all is well with you?
Dexter has grown into a
wonderful dog, loved by everyone - including other dogs.
We recently
went to Portland Bill with Dexter and our Black Labrador - Robbie (he was
originally training to be a drugs dog at the prison but failed to make the
grade!) - and we bumped into another of your dogs - Murphy.
We took some
pictures as Dexy and Murphy just loved each other. It was so lovely to see them
running around together.
I have attached some pictures of them both
together and one more of Dexy so that you can see what a lovely dog he has
turned out to be.
Kind Regards
Cathy

Hi Katrina
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your support and advice before and after the arrival of Harley. He is 10 weeks now and growing so very quickly!! We took him to the park last week and settled him on a blanket to watch all the children playing – he so wanted to join in and wasn’t at all fazed by the noise! He has settled so well and is enjoying playing tug of war with the swing rope and watching the kids bounce on the trampoline! He has met so many people including Postie Pam and the dustman in his Hi Viz jacket – just need to meet some dogs now, so looking forward to coming up to see you soon. Following his terrible reaction to his vaccine 2 days ago he is now back to normal, thank goodness. Thank you so much for your guidance and care. Harley can’t wait to see his “mummy” again very soon!

Hello Katrina
I hope you are coping with this snow and managing to keep the gang warm out there. I have to say Harley is thoroughly enjoying it and showing his true puppy colours! Not sure if the snow has frozen his hearing as his recall in the park has suddenly disappeared! I’m sure once it has thawed it will come back!! Harley had a lovely first Christmas with the family although his cousin, Fudge the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, doesn’t seem to like him, so it made it a bit hard for Harley to relax. He couldn’t understand what this growling, teeth baring dog meant and he kept going over to say hello, only to get nipped…poor boy, he hasn’t quite learnt what “push off I don’t like you” means in dog language! However, Harley did fall head over heals in love with his other cousin, Bess, the Collie/Lab Cross – and if only I had my camera when he lay next to her with his paw gently on her, almost saying to Fudge, “She’s my girl, so stay away!”
Harley excelled at his dog training Christmas Party winning all the games!! Musical mats, longest “watch me”, longest down stay, and the weaving in and out of bollards race (ok so he knocked most of them over but I wasn’t going to lose!)…He won lots of doggy treats and I went home a very proud mummy!
So looking forward to 2010……he’s nearly 8 months now and I feel slight teenage rebellion trying to raise its head…sometimes I wonder if he’s borrowed Hannah’s ipod and turned up the volume when I am telling him to do something (noticed I used the word “telling” here!). Will nip that in the bud! Apart from that he is an absolute joy to have – the kids adore him and he has been the best tonic for Hannah’s anxieties. So chuffed with how he’s turning out. Must come and show him off to you soon.
Wishing you a very healthy and prosperous 2010.
Love Lianne, Halford, Hannah, Ashley and Harley x
Photos enc are the best I could get…Harley as father Xmas was just to show you how tolerant he is!!

Dear
Katrina,
It was lovely to read about
Freddie and his progress. As you only have a very early one on Ginny I thought
you might like an update on her to go with Freddie.
She loves to track as well as to do agility (though that is on hold at the moment as we so limited about what we can do while she is so young and I don’t want her to get bored). She will track someone other than me and I am now introducing turns. She never does anything at half speed if she can help it, a complete contrast to Darcy who is cautious and measured. At about four months she went through a very challenging period which caused me a lot of thinking, but having overcome that she then became almost 100% responsive and because she is so quick it is a very active response. She loves doing things so she ‘downs’ and ‘sits’ to hand and verbal commands and returns to a whistle or word. She stands, waits for quite a while, loves to retrieve and gives to hand She picks things up very quickly and eagerly so the challenge is to think up new things for her to d
Dear Katrina
We haven't been in touch for a while and we thought you'd
like to see these photos I took at the river yesterday of Coco and Leo. Most
are of Leo on his own posing (he's such a handsome devil and I'm sure loves
the camera). But there are a couple of nice ones of them together
too.
As you can see, they are both well and still loving the
water.
Hope all good with you and the pack.
Best wishes

Hello Katrina
I gave you a list of what I would have liked jokingly, but cannot believe my luck that Quexi actually does have it all!! Our walks are a joy as she never pulls, she is very well behaved. Although I haven’t got a photo to show you yet, Quexi is excellent with my horse, cows, chickens, guinea fowl & ducks.
She is a lovely addition to our family; I must thank you so much for letting me have her. We have recently had her hips and elbows X-rayed and are waiting for the results - the vet said they were very good, so fingers crossed.
Pauline x
I have
taken Quexi out with my horse twice now, she has been amazingly perfect, she
stops & waits when I say, & is careful to stay clear of legs, walks,
trots & runs perfectly behaved, so I am very pleased. My horse seems to
like her coming too & is also careful with her. I do a short 45 min route,
at walk Trot & fast trot pace, all good fun, Quexi loves it. I keep her on a
lead, to be safe.
